Glasses for one good eye
« Reply #1 on: July 14, 2011, 02:54:56 PM »

Q: I lost the vision in one eye, but I still need correction in the other eye.I cannot find glasses that will work, because I still can see light, shapes etc. So I wear an eyepatch over the one eye. If you have any suggestions that might help, please let me know.
A: Most patients find that simply putting Scotch tape on the back of the glasses lens in front of the poor eye helps. Other more drastic options would be an opaque cosmetic contact lens or what you have all ready discovered, a patch.
